Baby Rachel

In February Auntie Sawah (aka Sarah Stein), who is probably mommy's very oldest friend - I believe we had play dates when our mother's were still pregnant, had a baby. On March 26th Nora Jane had her first "play date" with baby Rachel (somehow she has willed herself to say the r in Rachel). Nora Jane has been fascinated with "baby Rachel" since she saw her first picture on the day she was born. She always calls her "baby Rachel" perhaps because she enjoys the idea that someone is finally smaller than her. She has been known to carry around Rachel's birth announcement and give it kisses. She was so fascinated by Rachel - even when she was asleep - that she could not bring herself to look away at me for a picture. So here are some pictures of Nora Jane gazing fondly at Rachel. We are looking forward to many more play dates with Rachel!!
