With a Little Help From My Friends

Loyal blog readers. We know that you had gotten used to seeing lots of pictures of Nora Jane and her friends. You probably wondered: what will she do without Bebe, Morrie, Sophie and all her other Boston pals. To be honest we were a little worried too. Nora Jane managed to learn all of her friends names before we left Boston and asked to look at their pictures often once we were in California. We were amazed that a 14 month old could really let us know that she missed her buddies, but she did. Never fear Nora Jane has buddies here too and they are pretty cute. Nora Jane's friend Ansel was part of the original Boston crew; Jeff and I met his parents in our child birth class and then they moved to Palo Alto before we'd even thought of leaving Boston. It was such a happy coincidence and they just love to play together. In fact, we ran into each other at the grocery store this evening and they were teary eyed when we told them they had to go home ... separately. Nora Jane has made another new friend Ruth - "ooth" (NJ still has a little trouble with the R). Her parents just moved here from England and we've ended up in all kinds of play groups and classes with them as a lucky coincidence - we are so glad to have met them.

So without further ado ... Nora Jane and friends.

Nora Jane and Ruth had the same outfit on one day and were too cute not to snap a few pictures. Here Nora Jane is teaching Ruth the Bebe and Morrie jump in the crib game. Nora Jane likes to jump up and down yelling jump, jump. With my apologies to Ruth's parents.

Ruth also has some really cool toys like this outdoor boat.

Below are some pictures with Ansel:

Ansel has a really cool stroller (which is really his bike trailer) that both kids can fit in. Too much fun!

On this particular day their daddy's took them to the park so their mommy's could hang out.
